Bob Hale

About this Speaker

Hale has led the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) as president and CEO since 1988. He also serves as its chief strategist and visionary for both the association and MLS. Under his leadership, HAR has grown to be the second-largest local REALTOR® association in the country with more than 47,000 members. Hale launched HAR.com in 1997; the now statewide site receives eight million visitors each month, and Houston is the only market in the country where a national portal is not the most frequently visited real estate website. Early in 2021, Hale guided the in-house development and launch of ShowingSmartTM, which is a showing service with a staffed call center for HAR MLS subscribers. Recognized with virtually every industry honor, including the RISMedia Newsmaker Hall of Fame in 2020, Hale epitomizes the various titles of “Most Influential,” “Most Admired” and “Most Innovative” that have been bestowed upon him during the years.
